What is Zen?

Zen is a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind. Zen involves dropping illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts.

The Power of Words

It's very easy to fall into the trap of others' words.  Evaluating the words people use and the power they posses over us is very scary.  On the upside they can also be that little push we need to meet our destination.  When negative words become by habit blocked and only those encouraging words are allowed to enter thought it can be a very powerful tool.

A new study reveals that when dieters were receiving written information about diet and exercise on a weekly basis, they boosted their activity levels and ate smarter than those who didn't.  In fact it is stated that those who didn't receive information in the study didn't change (Eat this Not That Diet 2011).

Every day is going to be a hurdle.  Every choice will make a difference.  Every move will burn a calorie.  Every repetition will become a habit.  Every day there will be challenges.  Every failure can be counter acted with a success.  Every minute there will be a decision.

Jump those hurdles.  Make better choices.  Move a bit more than yesterday.  Repeat that habit you want to make.  Over come that challenge.  Forget how you failed and look to the successes.  Decide to be your best.
