What is Zen?

Zen is a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind. Zen involves dropping illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts.

Day 35

Well I finally made it back to good ole Missouri and things have been going great! My mother and father are both retired now and have been busier than ever! One of the endeavors that they have taken up is good diet and exercise. They have been doing well with this and it was very helpful while I have been here visiting. It has really been easy to stay on an exercise and diet schedule. Mom and dad have a gym membership and they are on the same diet I am on, so menu's have not been an issue. I hope that you all get on the scales just out of curiosity if anything tomorrow on our "Spring Break" weigh in. I wish you all the best of luck this week! Remember to stay focused and you will do fine. Remember you are already beautiful people just improving the beauty you already have! Check out the new survey I have added. It really is interesting to see what is most important to people. Usually what types of publications we read tells a lot about who we are as a person and what most important to us. These things are what we desire to become better at or want learn more about. It will be interesting to see what our poll says. Please feel free to leave comments, as I need the encouragement as well!

  1. Good job on your vacation Kerry! I didn't stick to my diet as much, but I did try to watch my portions while I was in Virginia. I also went by total fitness yesterday to double check myself, and it said I had gained 2 pounds, but this around lunch time (after my breakfast and LG coke from McD's). I missed walking with you all. I'll be glad to get back into that. I hope everyone had a good break...see you all Monday! :-)
