I just had a great conversation with my trainer from Harvey's. He thinks we have the potential to win this thing! He said to hang in there and that we would have weeks like this at times. He also mentioned that if you really want to take off the pounds we need to really intensify the cardio work outs. Small bouts of hard cardio that gets your heart pumping and then slower paced intervals. Three minutes of hard and then 3 minutes of moderate cardio should really shed the pounds. It gets your heart rate to pumping and increases your metabolic rate greatly. He also said something I have already talked to you all about. Drink water about 30 minutes before your work out plus ad some protein or carbohydrates. This helps rid your body of any toxins that are prohibiting calorie loss. I am going to try it and see if I have any success. I have been doing some reading as well and it suggests the same things the trainer mentioned so there must be something to it!
