What is Zen?

Zen is a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind. Zen involves dropping illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts.

Day 5

Another day has past ladies and gentleman! I hope you have all been very successful this week. We only have 2 more days until out next weigh in. I wonder who will be our biggest loser this week? Any predictions from anyone?
I am assuming that the girls are walking again tonight? I have seen some of you with bottles of water this week...way to go! I know I am feeling much better and my clothes are starting to feel much more comfortable. I have also almost gotten over the hump of feeling deprived. I have also signed up for the Jump Start Your Diet journal and it seems to really be helping me keep track of things much easier.
Any of you that do not have an account that want to post can do so just by signing up for a google account or by registering to start a blog a blogger.com. You don't have to make a blog just sign up to do one and then just use it as a way to comment on our Phat Cats blog if you like. Keep up the great work!

  1. Kerry, although I am not participating with you, I've become motivated by you.

  2. We did walk again today: Shalee, Rex, and me. Melanie joined us at the end too. I only stayed for half the regular route, but it was much better than nothing. Today was a good day. I've gotten over feeling deprived too, probably because I've eased my way in without a crash start. I hope to see results Thursday, but I'm a little nervous because I got such a slow start. Natasha, you should join us for walking in the afternoon if you feel the urge. We swap off strollers for extra weight to push. It's a nice way to wind down in the afternoons.
