What is Zen?

Zen is a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind. Zen involves dropping illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts.

Day 2

Good morning cats! It's a brand new day! If yesterday posed too much of a challenge for you, now is the day you can do over. Remember- don't let little set backs disappoint you so much that you cave in and create even more set backs. One set back is not a big deal. Try something new today. If you have a set back counter attack it with a little extra activity. If your cravings get too much try replacing eating with something else you love. Or try converting your favorite food over to an exceptable version.

I really enjoyed our walk yesterday...very refreshing. It really is nice to get to talk to your coworkers outside of work and share some of their life with them. I say we plan more activities together in the future. Instead of going out to eat, maybe we could meet for a volleyball match or bowling. Some kind of activity that gets us moving and burning those pounds! Having fun and working on our challenge seems like a great game plan.

I also had the idea that we might want to take pictures when we get together. I really wish we had pictures of our last supper and our walk at the park. Shalee you are a photographer maybe you can remember to get pictures for us. We can post the pictures here and create a timeline of our journey.

Remember stay focused you are all beautiful people and we are just improving what we have! Come back here often for your own motivation and mine as well. I wish you all the most successful weekend ever and I will see you on Monday!

  1. Kerry, you are a great motivator! I feel great this morning after a good start yesterday. Just so you know, I always keep my camera in my purse. So, if you are ever in the mood for some snapshots, it's there. You are welcome to it.
