What is Zen?

Zen is a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind. Zen involves dropping illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts.

Day 19

Wow I had to really catch up with my blog! I have been so busy with Infinite Campus that I haven't even taken the time to blog much the last few days! Sorry guys...I will make it up to you...just don't quit blogging on me. What a dedicated bunch! Great Friends, great exercise, and great determination! I don't know about anyone else on the team, but I really look forward to the walks after school. It is a wonderful destressor and it's fun to catch up on what is happening with everyone while we work off those pounds. The weather is getting nicer and it is getting easier to become more active. I am a little discouraged this week, but I have decided that I am just going to push myself even more next week! I know we have all encountered obstacles and triumphs...so let's take the triumphs and become even more determined to create more! Listening to you all tell what you have been doing for your new diets has inspired me to try some of the things you have talked about. Thanks Stephanie and Shalee...today I had a Cesear salad and it was oh so good! I am looking forward to our meal at Sol Azteca next week and I am certainly going to try the chicken fajita nachos that you were talking about! The chips and salsa however are going to be my biggest challenge...argh! Does anyone know how we rated compared to the other teams last week? I tried to find it in the paper, but was unsuccessful. Keep up the good work team!
